Our products may NOT be returned for fiat currency or store credit, barring extenuating circumstances + SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC's approval, and then, only in compliance with our return shipment instructions.
Hence, you MUST obtain an advance-written authorization document from us (by Contacting Us) prior to returning any Products. Please note, certain undisclosed items and quantities, rarely, may NOT be returned for fiat currency or store credit under ANY circumstances.
Quite patently, this particular segment (§ – 7. Returns [ALL Products]) of our Terms of Use, and its rigid nature, is due to research compounds' intrinsic, non-returnable characteristics. (e.g., contamination, safety, etc.)
8. Humane Research
SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC understands the importance of adhering to federal standards set forth by the United States government and other governing bodies regarding non-animal testing methods; in particular, we have always supported this organization's efforts in exploring alternatives to animal experiments. Using any kind of animal for scientific research has strict regulations that must be followed. All members and institutions are required to follow these guidelines, even those with proper state licenses. We strongly encourage all research to be conducted in compliance with the appropriate regulatory framework.
The use of animals as a testing method in the United States must be designed, reviewed, and implemented following accepted ethical guidelines set forth by the federal government; mammalian research must meet high ethical and scientific standards. Before conducting any kind of study on mammalian research, scientists must follow guidelines set by the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (45 CFR 46), as well as abiding by rules established under Food & Drug Administration regulation among other guidelines (21 CFR 50/56). It is also the responsibility of each institution that oversees animal testing to ensure all individuals using animals for experiments or teaching have been appropriately trained.
This document will outline what SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC requires of its employees and collaborators. First, SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC shall provide pre-approval for all researchers, institutions, or independent companies before they can proceed with tests on animals. The following outlines additional criteria for obtaining approval: 1) All procedures are performed under anesthesia as prescribed by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and/or Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW) National Institutes of Health, 6700B Rockledge Drive, Suite 2500, MSC 6910 Bethesda, MD 20892. 2) The animal's pain and distress will be minimized in accordance with the Report of the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources (1996) 3) The Principal Investigator (PI) will minimize duplication of research effort. If a procedure has already been approved within the past six months, it may not be submitted for additional approval unless significantly different from procedures previously reviewed. When duplicative submissions occur, SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC (if/when applicable) will forward all proposals to IACUC/OLAW for review. 4) No primates or endangered species are used. 5) All animals must be anesthetized before any blood draws or weight measurements are taken. 6) All animals must be housed in a temperature and humidity-controlled environments. The environment must be suitable for the species, age, health status, and breeding status of the animal(s). 7) All procedures will be performed as carefully as possible to avoid pain or distress to the animals. Procedures that may cause more than momentary pain or distress should be carried out with appropriate sedation/anesthesia unless it has been demonstrated that such procedures are not painful nor stressful to the animal(s). 8) No food or water deprivation shall exceed 24 hours except in special circumstances (e.g., experimental manipulations involving hunger cues, Ramadan fasting by Muslim employees). In these cases, the IACUC-approved plan for food deprivation shall state: one, how food deprivation will be measured; and two, the justification for food deprivation.
SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC understands that these federal standards were put into place to ensure that all research is conducted humanely and in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act (AWA), and we again advocate compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

10. Disputes

You irrevocably agree that, subject as provided below, the court(s) applicable shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning the Agreement and any matter arising therefrom and irrevocably waive any right that it may have to object to an action being brought in those courts, or to claim that the action has been brought in an inconvenient forum, or that those courts do not have jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause shall limit the right of SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction, nor shall the taking of proceedings in any one or more jurisdictions preclude the taking of proceedings in any other jurisdictions, whether concurrently or not, to the extent permitted by the law of such other jurisdiction.
14. Miscellaneous
No waiver by SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC of any breach of any provision of this Agreement (including the failure of SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC to require strict and literal performance of or compliance with any provision of this Agreement) shall in any way be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach of such provision or of any breach of any other provision of this Agreement.
Nothing in this Agreement shall create or confer any rights or other benefits in favor of any third parties not party to this Agreement.
Nothing in this Agreement shall create or be deemed to create a partnership, agency, trust arrangement, fiduciary relationship or joint venture between you and SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC.
SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC may assign, transfer, charge, sub-license, or deal in any other manner with this Agreement, or sub-contract any of its rights and obligations under this Agreement, to any other party.
§ This Agreement (in aggregateness) constitutes the unequivocal understanding and joint concurrence between the User (i.e., You) and SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC regarding the Website & Service & Products; it supersedes any prior agreement, understanding, or arrangement between you and SARMMIES ANALYTICAL LLC.
